Woodlands Hotel & Suites - Colonial Williamsburg Like the Colonial Williamsburg Inn, the Woodlands is a Colonial Williamsburg Foundation hotel ... only less expensive. It is located next to the visitor center and on the edge of a 40 acre pine forest. No other Williamsburg hotel is as convenient - you can walk the Nature Trail to the Historic Area, or just hop on a shuttle. The kids will enjoy the pool.
Great Wolf Lodge An indoor water park (always 84 degrees inside), huge arcade, and spa make the Great Wolf Lodge a lot more than a hotel. This is where your kids will want to stay when visiting Williamsburg. All the rooms are suites, which works well for families too (301 suites with 10 different room configurations). Dining options include a food court, bar & grill, Pizza Hut Express, cafe, and snack shop. The Great Wolf Lodge opened in March of 2005.
